The Best Banker Awards 2009

The Banker of the Year/Best in Banking Awards has given those people and companies who achieved the highest standards of progress, their innovating activity and their performance in banking and financial sector.


This award has divided in four categories. That four categories are: Banker of the year, Community Banker of the year, Lifetime achievement & Innovator. It has been published on 7th of December in American Banker edition. This is one of the important news of the year 2009.

Since 1991, each year this award has been achieved by American Banker. In the year 2001, it bagged the first awards dinner and ceremony, in the New York city. But this year it has been fallen in many challenges. As this result American banker unable to host a live award event.

The honor persons, who are in various categories have included Bill Cooper, Jamie Dimon, Bob Glassman, Mary Houghton, Dick Kovacevich, Arkadi Kuhlmann, Ken Lewis, William McDonough, Peyton Patterson, Jim Rohr, Bill Seidman, Bob Wilmers, and Deborah Wright. Past keynoters have included FDIC Chairman Sheila Bair, Treasury Secretary Lawrence Summers, and Congressman Barney Frank.
After their huge contribution it has been possible to achieve this award. How is the progressive way of banking, what kind of facility and services they are providing to the people everything has been related with it. The feedback of the customer, Banker's innovative activity, facility which provided for the customer, every things are important key factor for achieve the award.

After a research work throw internet I’ve got a confirmation that The Conference -Board everyday trolls through job website like timesjobs.com, monster.com e.t.c. and searching also counting the appropriate no. of jobs which have advertised and terminated the previous and old postings in website.


Conference Board Economist Ken Goldstein. Said that a week ago near about 3.4 million jobs posted at various career websites, and there many posting listed more than one job position. All of we know that about half the number of jobs which have been lost the employers during recession period in the year December 2007. That was a great stuck of finance & economy. Goldstein also added that the labor market is very dynamic and the people always moving in & out of a job. Some new jobs are creating during this recession year 2007 little number of needy people is running for them.



Many jobs are posting over there which are too far from the people’s home address.If you surf the the website you can see the labor market has a lot less healthy reason.
